My life by the Atlantic, so deep and teeming with life, is a major source of inspiration for my creative work.

I find joy in everything connected with the sea.

As the captain of my own ‘home’, I fill my studio with all manner of creatures and objects.

In this piece, I play with fish, with movement, and ensure there is never a shortage of colour.

I love simplifying features, but without losing the essence of the subject.

I don’t want a copy of the natural world, but rather a parallel play of forms.
